danica 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2011 If your budget allows, go for Caesarstone. My current white top is korean top and it leave scratches and strain easily. Alternatively, if you are using dark table top, you can consider black galaxy granite (if i did not remember the name wrongly). Granite does not leave scratches but it is only available in black. watchthewaves 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2011 Granite does not come in black only. Although colours are limited.Your top is Korean-made quartz (eg LG Viatera, Hanstone) or Corian? Quartz is harder than granite, so should be harder to scratch. So whether the Korean branded ones or Caesarstone, as long as they meet specs, should be similar I believe. But if you mean your top is Corian (acrylic solid surface), then it will of course scratch and stain easier than quartz or granite.
frostyapple 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2012 I have been using LG Hi MACS solid surface for my kitchen for 2 years already. I am very happy with it. It is definitely much better than my previous kitchen countertop which is a no name brand of solid surface.
