I didn't expect it to be a solid brick wall too.Yes laminate will peel off sooner or later with the water around, that why I resist doing the wooden laminate flooring for my bedrooms. We overlook on that and is too late. By right, that should be what a sensible contractor should do instead of using wood and waiting for owners to raise.ohh, my bedrooms are parquet. Retaining ex-owner's. Nowadays there are so much raves on laminate flooring and friends are giving thumb up haha

Nowadays there are so much raves on laminate flooring and friends are giving thumb up hahaYalor laminate flooring sure look more warmer and nicer. But our house is on the top floor and our bedrooms does not have awning outside our window so even a slight drizzle, rain water will be splash into our bedrooms if we forgot to close our windows. Do u know that one of my bedroom window edge is still leaking water after the window grille is taken out. Not sure how much rain water it collected over the years. friends78 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2011 We regretted to have laminated wood for our 3 bedrooms. If I have a chance to redo, I will go for tiles too. My current laminated flooring is still in good cond and it's also kind of maintenance free as it does not trap dust and I only need the magic clean swipe to clear the hairs and dust. BUT somehow the phobia of water on it, is creating mental stress on our daily life. We will get worked up when one steps out from the bathroom with wet feet. Unneccessary tension-____-
