Is My Quote Expensive

Dear all,

I need your opinions. We just bought a resale 4-room flat. Asked ID to help me renovate my two bathrooms. He quoted us 7k (excluding GST) for two toilets. is it too expensive?

For the common toilet, we only ask him to hack the floor tiles,basin,toilet bowl, bathroom acessories, shower set,existing shower screen door.Lay the floor tiles, install tempered glass shower screen door,new basin and toilet bowl, remove the existing and install new bi-fold door.

For the master bedroom toilet, we ask him to remove the existing culture marble top with mirror, remove basin, toilet bowl, bathroom acessories, shower set and install new basin and toilet bowl. We asked him to do the toilet vanity and provide us the full length mirror in the master toilet. remove the existing and install new bi-fold door.

I dont know whether we should ask him to renovate the toilets for us. Please advice.

I'm currently hunting for IDs and contractors too and I realise it's good to get a few quotes to compare. Or maybe some of the experts here can give you a better estimate. Good luck with your renovations!

I did. I got quotation from 2 contractors. Some works are cheaper some are expensive. For contractors, usually they dont list down all the work to be done clearly. So i think there are many hidden cost in it. So i approach ID.

If you have any good contractors/ID, please let me know. Wanted to look for more contractors/IDs.

$7K are the average pricing for renovate of 2 bathrooms, especially only 2 bathrooms and nothing else. If not wrong, tiles are included right?
