ningyusof 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2011 Just wondering.. if your tenant requests to install cable tv in their room, would u be comfortable with it? I have never installed any telephone line ever since i moved in. Though the tenant claimed he will apply under his own name and pay for bills, what about the telephone line? If im the owner of the flat, can the line be registered under a tenant then? Im not really comfortable with this request so i need some opinion and what is involved during installation, etc. I myself are using mobile broadband and didnt see the need to install any telephone line. If this seems like a bad idea i really need a good reason to turn him down.
therat 18 Report post Posted July 5, 2011 cable TV, are you referring to SCV?If yes, SCV don't need telephone line.Just need to get starhub ppl to lay SCV pt. But I think the cost was like hundred dollars?I don't remember the actual price, you can check with starhub.Does your room has the SCV pt?If yes, then don't need to lay cable. Your tenant use his/her name to apply SCV account, pay the bill.
