I wouldn't get brandt cooking appliances cause they are the worst ever. The chimmey hood is very noisy, i had the technician to come in twice a year to check. in the end i chose to pay a little more and go for bosch, more reliable..

I need to have my 2nd home kitchen done up in a few weeks and i intend to get Brandt kitchen appliances as they have been serving me well for the past 4 months. I bought mine from a Harvey norman store half a yr ago. Will be checking up the price and perhaps do a mini comparison.

I went to Harvey Norman today. Spoke to the same sales person who sold me my present appliances and received the following quote:

WFA 676 - $518/-

WFK 1018 - $9xx/-

AD 990 - $5xx/-

TI 1000 - $10xx/-

TI 1028 - $$16x5/-

FP 867 - $$16x0/-

TG 600 - $5x0/-

I was allowed to make payment in credit card terms unlike Everjoint where they insisted that i pay them in cash.

I compared the prices with everjoint after paying them a visit personally in AMK. Their prices differ by $200/- and i left the place. i spoke to a lady in her 40s by then name of Ms Aw/Au/Ow..

Will be making a trip down to Harvey Norman to make my purchase during the weekend.

Which chimney hood from brandt are you referring to? I am looking at the AD990XC, the one with baffles filter. Is it really that bad? Understand that at max 1050 fan speed, the sound level is 62dba. But if light cooking, can use lower speed and wont be that loud right?

Which bosch chimney hood did you get in the end? How much? Good?

Hi has anyone got any feedback to share on:

a) Brandt hood AD990X and

b) Brandt hob TG890X?

We liked the Brandt finishing so booked it at Mega Discount Kallang together with the Brandt oven but a bit concerned after reading the feedback on the noise and other issues. We still got chance to change before it's delivered, so any comments would be appreciated greatly !
