angelbutterfly 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2011 (edited) So excited! My bathroom tiles r up! All up to my expectation though a hiccup yesterday! Contractor n ID solved it promptly! I have to highly compliment the tilers cos they tried to align and give me whole big piece tiles instead of too many joining so it look better. The common bathroom has a good reason to be align like that due to my glass screen...My b/w common bathroom! My Master bathroom! Oh oh...The flash! angelbutterfly 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2011 can shs the contractor? ur kitchen top is 80/f for graphite? its cheapMy contractor gave me the granite contact and asked me to deal with him directly for cost to cost...R u asking for contractor's or granite contact? For my contractor, I am advising you all to view workmanship or till my completion then I can share contact as so far...touchwood! He is quite good as I met him early morning for work to be done that day and sometimes evening he will meet my hubby for discussion if I cannot make decisions. As I had put it, I am rather a fussy perfectionist but I tried to give and take. Contractors and workers can sometimes be a bit blunt and have their way in doing certain things. However, I accepted it if he explained clearly the reasons. I do insist and seek 2nd opinion, considered for a few days before carrying out some work. My kitchen entrance is still KIV as I am contemplating with the design...My contractor is an easy going person to talk to though. Since I know I can be difficult so I prefer to engage someone who is able to communicate well with me and at times have to tolerate my short temper! My parents were telling me not to be so demanding but its my dream home...Not to mention the amount of $ and effort dumped in for these few months of renovation preparation! For my tiles, I took 3 months to find the right ones and I am using tiles from Hafary, Soon bee Huat and Sin lek!Anyway, my contractor is the right one for me but that doesnt mean he can be the perfect one for everyone...Just keeping my fingers crossed for now till the carpentry part...Plastering and tiling's workers are good so I am praying for the very best!
