We baked butter cakes and pineapple tarts for sale to friends during CNY... After seeing all yr pics, I am asking mum to bake butter cake already...Yummy! U made me so so hungry! Let's share share recipe...I am worried abt my waist line..Gonna stay over mum's place for 2months during Reno so we will b baking alot de...Oh yes...I also bake cookies for my dog! Here's the recipe:-Pandan Chiffon Cake100g top flour (think i will use plain flour)1 tsp BP1 tsp pandan paste100ml coconut milk35ml/g corn oil1/4 tsp green colouring5 egg whites4 egg yolks1/4 cream of tartar100g castor sugarpinch of saltInstructionsa) Preheat oven to 170 deg cb) Prepare Mixture AMix pandan paste to coconut milkAdd yolks, 50g sugar, oil, colouring and salt to coconut mixture. mix well using hand whisk.Sift flour and BP and fold into mixture. Set aside.c) Prepare Mixture BBeat egg whites and cream of tartar at high speed until foamy. Add remaining 50g sugar and beat till stiff.d) CombineAdd 1/3 mixture B to A and mix using hand whisk (this becomes mixture C)Slow fold in mixture C into the remaining 2/3 mixture BPour mixture into ungreased 18cm chiffon cake tin and bake for abt 50 minsTurn tin over on cake rack to cool before loosening cake Edited August 3, 2011 by Bluesummerayz Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
