stardust205 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2011 Got the 'feel'...Luv it ! Some of the items located in the house. The REVO Heritage taking pride of place on the TV Console.A wrong that was made right. A Newgate clock that I saw in London but didn't buy ("Oh, I'll get it when I come back later"). Major regret for not buying but found an online shop willing to ship to Singapore. GBP 83. I got my inspiration there Rottenramone is also crazy about apartment therapy.JS, saw your clock above and it just remindeded me - Newgate Clocks are now carried in a shop called "The Good Things" in Clementi Mall. Not the full range though, but a good selection. Where is your condo by the way??

The clock that I bought has a industrial look that I really love, even the typeface used on the clock face is perfect.Check out this site: http://www.utilitydesign.co.uk/mall/departmentpage.cfm/UtilityDesign/_123284/1/Clocks They have a great range of Newgate clocks and their customer service is pretty good.My condo at Toh Tuck, near Bukit Batok Rottenramone is also crazy about apartment therapy.JS, saw your clock above and it just remindeded me - Newgate Clocks are now carried in a shop called "The Good Things" in Clementi Mall. And prices not too attractive... (vs shipping in) but I do like window shopping there. If you go Clementi and have time, do check out the chwee kueh stall at the market. Yummy... branch of the Bedok one I think.
strikingreality 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2011 (edited) I didn't see your clock there, but there are others lah. Since yours is perfect, then you won't need another. The stocks there are quite irregular, it's like one of those shops where they just bring in some items once and don't restock on that again, those kind. But the last time I was there, they just brought in the Newgate clocks and it was a decent selection (enough for me lah). So your mileage may vary. I didn't realise you're in the west (but that's cuz I didn't ask). I know the area very well. My in laws live in the HDB estate in Bt Batok that is closest to the Toh Tuck area and I am just 5-8 min from Toh Tuck as well. Also, any feedback on it? Thanks!I got it from my brother-in-law who had a spare set. I think it's a KDK, 46" fan. It only cools directly below it. Other than that, it works pretty well.
