Branbens 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2010 I decided to just go with Genesis - hope its ok. It looks exactly the same as the one I have at home now from Easy Hanger, but the easy hanger pple quoted me 2.5X the price of what I paid for 7 yrs ago and insisted that I can do a wall mount since my walls are parallel to the rods and not perpendicular. I think that's just silly cos its a matter of fabricating a bracket that can do the same thing. I've put the photos of the Genesis hanger which I took at their factory and the one am using now. Any feedback is appreciated My current system genesis system
ziztine 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2010 We bought the type where each pole is individually controlled made in Taiwan for our laundry area. About $400 plus from Ezziliving. Tame also has a similar version. We also have the rucksuck in the balcony bought through Ezziliving. We have tried 3 types of the up and down clothes airer in our past home and the current home and the latest individually controlled pole type is the best. The type with an accordian attachment to the ceiling tends to get out of balance with use so one side goes up higher than the other side and it takes some effort to fix it. The second type - which is controlled by a ball chain - is very slow to pull up and down. For the first 2 types, the entire load of laundry must move up and down together which means that it is very heavy to pull and also tends to wear out the moving parts faster. Our latest airer has individually controlled pole so it is much lighter and easier to move up and down. May I know which company did u purchase the individual controlled pole system from? How many yrs have u been using it & is it still working well for u? Am thinking of installing it for my new flat thus need some advice. Thanks!

EdensMom 8 Report post Posted July 19, 2013 I am looking at hanging clothes out the window..... but I am on a low floor. Has anyone ever seen a "cover" for these poles, to stop the washing getting wet from neighbours above? I'd be interested in how to make this or where to buy it.... ianlow 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2016 I am considering either : http://www.klassicointernational.com.sg/product-category/smart-lift-laundry-clothesline/ or http://www.ezziliving.com/shop/manual-products/product/32-ez-hi-dry It seems that both are similar in operation. One is stainless steel 304, looks a little ugly, while the other is nice and may rust?? Any one used either of these system? Thanks a lot!
