Mavis Fabric Sofa ?

Anyone here know where to get MAVIS sofa in Singapore ?

I will be moving in my new condo in 4 months time.So thinking of getting a downfeather fabric sofa.I have been shortlisting a number of sofa from Space , Xtra , XZQT and Bo-concept.

Recently went for a short holiday with my wife to Malaysia KL.Happen to walk into a boutique sofa shop which carry this brand MAVIS.My wife and I were impressed by their design and comfort.We decided to spend a little bit more time to understand about their product.Anyway , we are also hunting for a set of downfeather fabric sofa because my wife like a cozy feel in our new home.When we looking at their design and workmanship , we were impressed with it.Its like those that i saw at some of the high end sofa shop in SG.The moment i try their sofa , we immediately fall in love with it.I just like the soft and wrapping feeling.When i saw the range of fabric they offer..another Wow...very nice print and texture.Their sales told me their fabric is import from Belgium and Italy.I was eyeing at either a 3M L-shape downfeather sofa which cost about RM19000 or a 3+2 seaters which costs about RM25000.

I was thinking to import their sofa back to singapore since it is just a few hours journey away.But the sales inform us to go to their website http://www.mavis-brand.com/ to check for a local authorised retailers coz they have retailers worldwide even in the USA and European markets.Log in to their website but do not seem to find any retailers fo MAVIS sofa in Singapore.And they also do not sell to end user.

Anyone heard of this brand MAVIS and where could i find their retailers in SINGAPORE ?

I put downpayment at Species Home Furnishing for this Mavis brand fabric sofa, I book their package for $5,988 for Sofa + Dinning Table + 4 Dinning Chair + Coffee Table + TV Console. I heard from their boss saying this Mavis brand is selling at what you mentioned RM10,000 - RM20,000. Is it really that expensive ?

Maybe you can go to Species Home to take alook, whether is it the same set as what you see in KL. But one thing to note, Species Home has quite a no. of bad comment in this renotalk forum,

Yes , In MAVIS showroom their cheapest downfeather sofa cost RM8000 for a two seater.Its still consider quite cheap for this kinda of quality they are offering.

I think they are located in Furniture Mall, do read through the renotalk forum before you decide to go.

In case you really like it and purchase from them, do remember to ask them to write every detail in the invoice as there are too many bad comments last 2 years. Only this yr, they started to have some ok comment. I hope that Mavis from Species is what you saw in KL cos I really scared it is not.

Yes , agreed.One of it i shortlist is from Xtra , a display set cost about SGD $15K somemore i cannot choose colour , direction.

Maybe you all should see this Mavis design.. I like it at first sight...The one i saw in Species is $3000+, Expo discount $2,600+.

Is that the one you saw at KL Malaysia? The green color sofa design. I bought this Mavis fabric sofa form Species Home few months back. Actually I wanted to buy a leather sofa but after shopping around make me so confuse about leather. So many kind of leather like PU leather, bonded leather and top grain and so on…… So i rather buy fabric sofa.

Hi, I show the brand Mavis Fabric Sofa in Expo and carried by this company called M&M.

The sofa was so beautiful and so comfy and it's from Malaysia KL. Don't know, is it the same Mavis brand your mentioned here?

You can look at the online stores. I faced the same problem when i moving to Italy. Then i order it on a online store by reading their catalogue. Considering your problem there's lot of online store based in Singapore are selling the MAVIS Sofas with a low cost. You can check those out, but be careful when you are buying always buy from the authority domain.
