stardust205 0 Report post Posted June 2, 2011 Hi all,As you know, the HDB appointed cleaner will come by every month to wash the corridor floors. They usually use the super-duper-strong water spray.Would this damage the part of laminated flooring which is outside the main door?I'm worried of water seepage.Any owners whom do laminated flooring for living halls, face this issue? Thanks alot! stardust205 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2011 (edited) at the main door area, use tile look-alike the laminate, this way...no need worry about water splashing..Thks Imran. That was my initial thought, but contractor going to charge me additional $200 for tiling that area.We felt it wasn't worth that amt of money.. so decided to just take a chance. If the condition really gotten worse in future, then we will do tiling for the main door area.
