Yes, there is a normal manual switch and this has to be switched ON for the remote control to work.

If I am not wrong, it doesnt work if you buy more than one remote control, unless you have the intention to sell the remotes or you want the extra remotes as a backup in case you lose them

If you are hoping to get more than one remote control so you can increase the number of lights you can control in your house, I think it will be a waste of money, coz it wont work as you would like it to be

no no of course not.i think it will only control the same cluster of lights, eg lights tapped from the same power source.

yeah it exactly the same, just different brand printed...guess its outsourced manufacturing..haha...
