JCase 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2011 We're ok with moving the bathroom door slightly forward towards the stairs, to give more space into the bathroom. That will give some space for a shower, just wondering how to do a screen..... Marcus actually suggested 2 glass half doors - like panes that can be swung back and forth as required and lower the floor of the shower area to demarcate it. May work?Should work but once again, where does the water drain off? Your trap is next to WC.
JCase 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2011 Do you have another pix where we can see the other side of the toilet? The door is blocking, so the 2 half panels on the other side may work.
JCase 0 Report post Posted May 24, 2011 will definitely redo the floors anyway since I cannot live with the colour combination! Atta girl
patsy_sg 1 Report post Posted May 24, 2011 jcase, will have to move the trap from behind the WC to the recess. Might consider bifold doors too to save space!

It's far classier and the doors are made of glass so it's nice and heavy.

patsy_sg 1 Report post Posted June 1, 2011 (edited) Our pockets definitely not deep especially with the expensive weekend we had!!! Some of the stuff we've bought:1. Coffee table and tv console- both solid teak wood, 2nd hand from an expat moving to a new place and decided to change all his furniture even if they were only 1 yr old!!
