Furniture Shopping in JB.....think twice. I wanted so much to share and warn others forummers about my unpleasant experience there. I bought a L-shaped half-leather sofa from a very reputable Shop called Rustica in August last year. I paid RM3900. I was assured genuine cow hide leather for surfaces that will have skin contact but I was fooled. Barely a month after using the sofa, the "cow hide leather" started to tear and peel. I called the shop several times and even emailed them the photos of my sofa condition to complain but was met with frustrating unreasonable excuses. The most they would do for me is just to touch up the peeling surfaces with paint. I reluctantly agreed to their suggestion but was played out twice as a result my two Sundays was wasted waiting for them to come at home. Angry and annoyed, I've given up.

I think it is wiser and safer to shop in Singapore at least we are able to get back to them more conveniently and most importantly - we can report to Consumers Association if we are sure that the merchant default on promises given to customers.
