potatoes 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2012 May I knw how it cost U??Is it able to clean the whole house at 1time?Is it noisy?Thnk u bro Hi Casa, the Agait Robot cleaner costs only S$339.It is able to clean about 70% of the house after which it goes back to its home position to recharge itself. My wife feels that it is noisy but I feel it is certainly much quieter than the conventional vacuum cleaner.
whitehousey 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2012 Whitehousey, coincidentally I got this idea of owning a dishwasher while I was in Australia. It is a common household item as domestic helper there is expensive n not easy to get. My usage is about twice or 3x a week. I usu wash the plates in the dish washer immediately.I dont like to leave dirty stuff inside for a day or two. I get the dishes washed immediately .It is a great domestic helper A great domestic helper indeed! I've only been using the dishwasher here for a month since I moved in. I chose the cheapest dishwashing tablet from Carrefour ($5 for 32 tabs) and it does it's job but some how the dishes feels different from when I used the "Finish Quantum" sample tabs that came with my dishwasher.Which tabs do you use or recommend?A robot vacuum is the next target for me. Hi Whitehousey,I am also using "Finish" too but it is the double-action type.... slightly more expensive and only Coldstorage sells them. One thing that I do is for each wash, I cut the tablet into halves and use 1/2 tablet for each wash. So I can use 1 box for quite a long time.I also use the economy cycle (about 40min). The washing is very clean and of acceptable standard. What about u? How is your usage? Cutting it into half sounds like a plan! I'm definitely going to try it when I've finished my current batch of cheap carrefour tablets. Just like you I use the shortest cycle (about 33min) and it even gets the brown burnt-in stains off the pots and pans! Dishes comes out too hot too touch so I'll leave them for a couple of mins before I store them.Only down side to my machine is if I put the bowl in as closely as the plates they don't get washed too well. So when guests comes I only give them plates. Which is way better/cheaper then using the disposable plates. I worked out the cost of using the machine with the electricity and tabs, and it comes out to under $0.50 per wash! Love it! Here's my domestic helper! Where you gotten your robot from? Never heard of this brand, I only heard of iRobot and iClebo.Do you have the issue of the robot bump into your cabinet base and skirting? Heard some robot will cause damage as they tend to bump too hard onto objects in its way. Edited July 23, 2012 by IPineapple

Their showroom in @Orchard Central:) I got the sales person to demo before deciding. There will be bumping against the wall skirting, lower part of cabinets, wardrobes, tables, etc. The bumper is sensitive and tries to move off the the moment it knocks on something. So far no major problem...... Just make sure no obstruction on the floor like cloth or slippers. Vacuuming has never been made so easy for me. It is certainly a great invention It has no mopping feature. I thought this is not so critical to me at this point of time. I still think that mopping needs that human touch.... I want to reach every tiny corner of the house, a conventional mop is still the best tool Edited July 23, 2012 by potatoes

potatoes 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2012 Hahaha..no need to thank me lah bro. I have been stalking your blog long time ago liao....So bro...in your opinion this one is better than iRobot huh? Price wise to me definitely...hehe...I ve not seen iRobot but the price I heard is quite similar to iCelbo.....ie abt $900. These 2 have cameras on them to help them "see" things around them and memorize routes. Of course it will be good to own these robots as sellers claim they r different coz they don't repeat the routes. Only Icelbo cones with the mop attachment. I don't find it convincing to have a small cloth to mop the entire house... Lol My robot only have sensors to sense for objects around it. It offers 5 different mode partterns. I like the along wall best as most of the dust or hair tend to be located along the sides of the walls. The random mode is good enough for me as it covers 70 to 80% of floor space to be vacuum. It xan be programmed to do scheduled work and intelligent enough to go back to home station to recharge itself. My Agait robot is indeed a great helper to me as I don't have a human domestic helper.
