The sound must be bouncing around like crazy now, I know that's what happened to my new place when I just moved it.The fans are unique, a little bit steampunk, but works.The sofa gives the space the perfect touch! Thanks alot =) Pai Seh, give us some time to add in the final touches to our kitchen kk =) The kitchen is open up so as not to feel too constricted and it allow us to have a easier access and communication. I agree with ya, the frame make a whole of of difference, it wasn't intended to be there but it came in as we needed a box up to hang the bar counter work lights, which lead to having extra box up use for the side pillar as the carpenters had measured wrongly(too short), then it seems weird having a different material for the left "pillar", so add in again.. My dad still has one just like it (the genuine seventies article!) and my mum has an old portable Olivetti typewriter (still in its original case) that I'm gonna display on my big bookshelf in the living room. It'll help break up the monotony of all those books! Thank you =) lol The briefcases are my dad's from the seventies! I have been looking around for old typewritter and found alot hanging from the ceiling as deco in a store @ Wisma!!! Too bad it wasn't for sale... I had asked the installers were the materials from China, he said nope but never tell me from where. The blinds were made/assembler in SG. It took one week to be installed from the date of measurement/deposit. The fan can be found @ Extra.Now that I read your reply, i felt like I just asked a very duh dumb blonde question. Luckily the back of the brickwall is a staircase so it wouldn't really disturb the neighbour beside.The fans is the only think to get commented first when entering. love the curve of the sofa and two tone. We had changed it from "Bamboo" colour fabric as we were afraid it will look terrible but I was surprised it looks great on a furniture than on a piece of sample which is hard to visualise.PS, before I saw your blog, I initially wanted to get the stag head excatly like yours also but somehow decided to KIV on that. Please let me know where I could find a black board in SG. Thank you!TA DA! Biohazard shelter behind the "black" board.Shoe cabinet on the right. The left side have storage for bigger shoes/boots/shoe boxes and drawers to acomodate socks. Forgot to take a shot of this.kuku HDB provided me with a wrong initial floor plan showing a different opening... Thus the main door had to be flipped so that we could build this.
