paints arrived and aircon man started the piping works....

ID called last week & mentioned that the bomb shelter door is in 'bad shape'.

You will need to use alot of force to close the door, and the knob is spoilt.

He mentioned that we need to contact HDB to do the repair as there is no retailer selling the door knob.

Contacted HDB & they came to acess the damage & was quoted $170 for the repair of the door knob & the replacement of the rubber strip.

Haiz...more things to pay for.

painting progress was pretty fast. the 1st coat of white is already done for the whole house

balcony sliding doors installed

kitchen lights installed

dining light installed

downlights installed too

grilles at balcony installed...BUT!!!! they got the WRONG DESIGN!!!! *@$&@*$&@#

asking them to change it!

Wooh.... Wrong design? Was it mix up? I fear this kind of things will happen to me also... Cos my grill still not up yet!

At least u r making good progress... Only left kitchen cabinet?

hi,

i think there's a miscom. will make them change no matter what...cos the design is just so not my cup of tea.

progress is good but there are still quite a far bit of stuffs outstanding:

- bedrooms laminate

- master bedroom wardrobe

- kitchen cabinet

- shoe cabinet

- bomb shelter feature wall

- tv console

- window grilles

- bedroom doors

- main door & door grilles

- toilet accessories

- exisiting wall sockets change

not sure if they can make it by 24th sept....

I believe you can meet deadline, provided the people cone everyday to do job. Kitchen already take 3 to 4 days to install. Electrical about 2 days.

Did they provide you a schedule? If it goes as per plan & completion is by next 2 weeks. Should be safe maybe they are adding in more manpower?

Looking at so many hiccups from renotalkers here, i am so afraid that mine will be at the same situation too.. cross fingers

They didnt provide me a schedule. More on the ID plans everything from delivery...& etc.

i just look forward to the 24th sept for completion as promise.

Yeap all along at JW. From Ave 1 to St 64 & new place at St 65 (opposite your area).

We like the series of blks where u are staying because of the balcony open grilles. Heh!

We seen 3 units & the room layout isn't suitable so we gave up for other blk.

hey i moved 3 times too. i used to live at blk 62X then moved to blk 63X haha..now to this current place 68X

i have see alot of units around 65+ but we didnt fancy any. almost giving up and came across this unit.

i am attracted by the balcony too.

anyway ID just called. He said there is a miscomm, he will get the wrought iron grilles changed. phew....

I also ended the same thing as u because the window people also brought in the wrong aluminum grill. Is your balcony grill is curve.... I got my ID to install curve grill for my balcony.
