Hi, i will be collecting keys for my new flat soon. May i know what are the tradtional rituals to do when we first step into the house.

Bring a champagne, shake a bit, hold on to the cork and turn the bottle & pull out the cork. Shout aloud to letgo your excitement. Getting a property is a big thing in life, must shout.

I think before moving in, one has to throw rice mix with salt into the house. Has to be thrown from room to room. This is supposedly a ritual to get rid of nasty stuff lurking in the house.
