I am also in some of sort of situation like this. The flat which we purchased also have the MBR and common room combined together to form a big MBR. so i would want to separate them as the MBR and common room.

Can you please pass the contractor details so that i can contact him to do the work. We only need to separate the 2 rooms. no hacking is needed as far as i know.

I believed that I have dropped u a PM in response to your earlier request which had also been posted under this thread.

However, I didn't hear from u subsequently.

what's your budget for such an assignment?

Even though Ah Cheong is a specialist in cement-related works but his fees do not come cheap. The reason being that he uses premium raw materials and have a professional team who delivers premium workmanship.

So if you have a tight budget, then, ah cheong would not be suitable for your restoration works.

If this information is relevant to you, I would like to share that I had the following done by ah cheong based on our site measurements:

- hack wall to create new door entrance

- supply & installation of door frame

- install new wall (10 ft by 7 ft)

And it cost us $2,000 and this pricing does not include a door for the new bedroom.

It is relatively expensive if u compare his pricing to main contractors who do everything from tiling, plumbing to carpentry.

However, we are ok with paying premiums for excellent workmanship & great service. We want all our reno works in our home to last for a long time.
