Elin_T 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2011 Synapse,Having 2 contractors to do the jobs is normal.This is what IDs do, they conolidate like 3 -4 contractors to do your house.Their job is just to monitor.So, if u are on budget, i guess this is the way to go.But u have visit your house often to make sure they do the right thing. archenemy 0 Report post Posted May 14, 2011 i think i will be using more than 1 contractor for my upcoming reno..1 for my masterbed room raised flooring...at least 1 more for the rest of the house..may have 1 more for my wardrobe/s..most importantly...you must know what needs to be done 1st..and of course...the co-ordinating work can be quite tiring...but if you can confident of doing the co-ordinating..then why not?
