danard 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2011 Hi all,Was renovating our HDB flat. Our city gas meter is located inside the kitchen. Kind of blocking my kitchen cabinet and will be inconvenient for officer to come & take the readings. Kind of stupid design but no choice as it seemed to be there for years before we bought this unit last week. Have arranged the appointment to ask City gas guys to come down and see if they can relocate the meter outside the flat. I was not there when they visited the place though. They talked to my ID instead. Was informed by ID today that City gas informed him that the meter can no longer be relocated outside the flat due to change of policy recently. Have anyone experienced this before? Is it true that such policy exists? Can't find any info on city gas website. Thank you so much for your feedback.
