megaking 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2011 Planter Box by Evorich.com.sg==================Engage this company call Evorich,as it keeps on advertising in this forum I thought it might be good right?WRONG!There are better ones like woodnwood supreme wood out there and sway as i might i engage them.I have actually expressed my displeasure in this forum so I will not go into details.look under http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27521&st=120Just take a look at the way they did to my planter.http://i1105.photobu...g_72/photo2.jpghttp://i1105.photobu...ng_72/photo.jpgUntil now no news from them. My comments on them1)most workers are on auto-pilot mode, suka suka call you up to inform their people are there in 20 mins, they have actually arrange with me 4-5pm.they are atmy door steps at 11am!!! I was not at my new home, and have to rush down.Simply no time management.2)Lousy worksmanship3)sales service everytime MIA mode.Next week I will file CASE against this company.Anyway next topic will be lighting! slegna 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2011 Hi! Sorry to hear about your planter box issue. Are you going to get them to replace the entire decking?I also need to do a decking for my planter box, but will be choosing WPC instead of real wood for easier/no maintenance. Looking forward to see your reno progress~ and hope that your CASE wins!
megaking 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 slegnasimi is WPC? never been to scandavian countries before, weather good?
slegna 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 kk show you the link, http://www.2ms.sg/index.htmlIt's Wood Plastic Composite, recycled wood basically. It isn't as beautiful as real wood like chengal/timber but it serves the same purpose. Somemore, easy to maintain, so thats why we choose this, can't imagine me oiling the wood on weekends man... Weather now is good here, 17 degrees, but last six months machiam I was in freezer.
megaking 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2011 Thanks slegnaI did call up another decking company for my planter box below are the prices : Iron wood =$27 (ya it's 27)chengal =$25 (cheaper than iron!,i cannot believe, one possible reason are these chengal are young wood,yes?)er.. your WPC= $30+! sign... seems like nowsday all after your money.... slegna 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2011 yah megaking,Price of WPC is shocking right! I was also thinking 'recycled wood' should be cheaper... That's why I'm only going to use it for the planter area... Rest of the balcony will be artificial grass (hb's wants), cut cost. My reno budget was abt 15k, but after researching on all the prices... I estimate it's going to become 19k even if I hire a contractor (or become contractor myself). What to do? First house very hard to settle for less...
