Phintastic 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2011 To handover!!! This sat.. Arrangements have been made for movers n delivery of stuff on sat n sunSeems like most of the tedious jobs are almost done. Dun worry, carpentry works should be the least time consuming, since most of the materials have been more or less cut to size. Furthermore, if they can do knocking and drilling involve for carpentry in daytime, they can ot to proceed with the cabinet door fixtures etc... hope you can make it in time. I will be in the same boat as you are now in a 3 weeks time...

I will be in the same boat as you are now in a 3 weeks time... ya agreed that carpentry work is the least time consuming, but if they have problem in production, then cannot come install either.. thats what happened to me... all the cabinets only up the 'kak'/ shell... i had to delay everything, some furniture cannot reschedule so had to be delivered and suffered all the dust while the carpentry comes in.. drilling.. sawing... faintz.. dust everywhere.. basket
stardust205 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2011 yep, it seems the condition is still very good and design not too bad too.I would also keep it if I were you the kitchen was renovated 1 yr ago and still in very good condition, therefore we do not intend to revamp it.here are some pictures of the kitchen:we gonna replace that brown wooden borderwe may just want to just change the tap and the cabinet handles if there are leftover $$ at the end of the reno
west 1 Report post Posted July 11, 2011 OMG!!!! Ok I tell you ah.. u better hound them every day, carpentry is most important, dont let them say 'sure sure can can..' but in the end put the the shells only... some more after put up liao, got strong smell so u need to air them out too. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you... Shells only as in no shelves inside? Oh yah, now u remind me of the smell, i just hope the recent windy season will help it dissipate faster. The wind r pretty strong here, in fact the workers asked us why we still need to install fans. But its a bad period for my 2 neighbours along the same stretch of corridor, the dust is like a mini snow storm for them, esp we did plenty of drilling n hacking, one of them even kept their shoe rack!!
