Phintastic 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2011 unfortunately, handover was postponed to this coming wed... hoping that everything can be done this time roundalso faced a major hiccup last sat (the supposedly handover date), we found the kitchen leaking from the ground cabinet.was told to prepare for the worst for them to tear down the entire kitchen carpentry to locate the source of the leak (pipes are all embedded behind)it was speculated that the pipe must have been damaged during the prev reno and when we started doing our own reno, the constant turning on and off of the mains during our reno probably aggravated the damage and caused leak. there was always a wet puddle in the kitchen near when our reno began but we have shrugged it off as accidental spillage and didnt really pay attention to ittoday, about 1/4 to 1/3 of our kitchen cabinets was torn down to locate the leak and (fortunately) they pinpointed a leak in a pipe embedded in the wall, apparently, the water seeped down through the cement wall behind the tiles and escaped from the base of the kitchen cabinet. the leak was most likely caused by a goondu worker who punched the nail into the pipe during the earlier reno... cant believe it when the houses now have tapes on the wall indicating where the pipes and they can still nail it directly on the spot. anyway, we are giving it a night to see how things goes, hopefully the water that is slowly dripping out now are the residual water left in the wallno choice have to exceed a few days after handover to redo the kitchen separately for this unexpected problem...Sorry to hear your bad news. Look at it from the bright side, better to discover the leak and manage to trace the source now than to discover the leak after they handover to you. Not that all ID firms are irresponsible but I am sure nobody wants to go thru the hard way to find out right? At least now they die die also have to solve it for you. Cheer up.BTW, I am finally getting my keys tomorrow, the house was still in a big mess as of last Friday. Hope the seller manage to clear all his stuff. I will be updating my thread, keep a look out to see the transformation.

west 1 Report post Posted July 19, 2011 If u see the wall to the left of the toilet, there will be a sliding tv wall/panel in frobt of it which can cover up a bit more of the glass for that added privacy when crapping .... Lol

Phintastic 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2011 Bomb shelters usually comes with 2 ventilations. It is ok to seal one of them leaving the other one open.
