Has been a hectic period for us, rushing down after work to check on the progress.

So far, wet work (both toilets, and patching of floor tiles due to hacking) are done, electrical points all laid, platform foundation MBR and our kid's room (before laminates) done

Scheduled handover is this coming weekend but progress still looks unsure.gif , everywhere is still so messy..

ID has kept on assuring us that it can be done on time, based on the state of things, only about 80% convinced, but keeping our fingers crossed, no choice cos we have already scheduled the movers and the delivery rolleyes.gif

was told that once the junk in the house cleared, they can follow up with the painting and start with the carpentry which can be installed quite quickly cos most prefab in the factory already...

so issit true that carpentry can be done up very quickly?? really need some assurance from forummers.. :P

the other areas of work will be installation of powerpoints/switches/lightings, bathrooms accessories (some only can be done after carpentry, ie. vanity top) and floor laminates (for MBR and one room)...

platform for our kid's room

living room ceiling done!

IMG_1708.jpg

see the warzone unsure.gifunsure.gif, actually photo taken few days ago, must discount about 50% since quite a fair bit of raw materials have been used for the toilets, nevertheless, still looks very messy as at today

Hi neighbor, love the look of your ceiling. We are indeed neighbors, guess we are only 5 mins away, I am only right beside Dawson Fairprice. The best part is I am currently a Jurong resident too. Hahaha what a coincidence. Most of my windows faces the opposite side where the new blocks and the Dawson Skyterrace currently under construction. Luckily just nice unblock by these new buildings. Will post pics after I collected the keys.

Hope to see your picts soon.

Yes, Dawson is only a 5 mins walk away for us, extremely convenient forgroceries and meals. A great plus point for us since we have to either drive toJP or IMM to do our groceries, incurring time/fuel and parking cost. But to us,the greatest convenience to us is the central location, it really cuts down alot of travelling time and cost cos we are always going town area (for work/leisure)and east side (visit parents). J

Soooo much hacking done - I LIKE! :)

**** it - your ceiling design is very close to what I designed for my feature wall in my living room. *back to the drawing board*

can't wait to see your final product - keep the updates coming!
