newemowner 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2011 I just installed brand new Mitsubishi Starmex Aircon 2x9000btu 1x12,000btu for all rooms and 1x24,000btu for living room... (All inverters) After installation it seems ok and quiet, next day when I on i noticed the living room Air con is actually vibrating (no noise) A closer look it seems like the spinning "fan" inside the corner causing the vibration. I place my hands on the unit and can feel the vibration. Though not very strong but it is not very weak vibration as well... Is this normal? I don't recall this on all air-cons i had previously, anyone had the same issue maybe particularly with this brand? Thanks ...

Didnt see or feel any vibration on the fan coils when activate it to the powerful mode. (3x9000 btu) however, 1 of the bedroom fancoil sit directly above the trunking that link to the other room. the trunking blocks about 10-15% of the cool air outlet thus causing some condensation on the surface of the trunking being blown on. water droplets are form quite quickly... Just wonder if i should let it be or should i change the position of the fan coil? Thx

Thanks ...If you ask Mitsubishi i think their technician will tell you is wall not even or bracket not installed properly. Or maybe they will be more responsible to try to find out where the fault is and solved your problems in a more professional way.It is the same case for my panasonic non-inverter sys 3 which i install less than a year & probably will change to another brands coz of the repeatedly problems not able to solved.I did complain abt the same issues like you and what they do is just to put thick foam on the gap between the wall & fan coil unit, it is quite ugly but it is how they solved it.If you hv thick foam or cardboard paper, try to insert on the areas which u think might hv cause the vibration.
