w3iw3n 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2011 Guys...was wondering whether did Goh Ah Bee accepted your orders w/o deposits made and do not issue any form of sales orders or receipt? Was there to buy a WM and fridge and the person in charge merely took in my orders with my particulars and address. THATS ALL. No deposit was needed and they do not issue us an invoice or receipt. I am worried that they may not have the stock and thus unable to fulfill the order.
edenstrauss 3 Report post Posted April 10, 2011 It doesn't sound like any orders had been made. Why don't u call them up for clarifications/ confirmation? If no orders had been made, u might want to consider more reputable retail stores e.g. Best Denki. I got all my electricial appliances from their outlet at Takashimaya. Very reliable with no issues upon delivery.

Berry10 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2011 When i last purchased my washer fr GAB, i called them, asked for the model, how much. They gave verbal quote. I ok. they said could send by <date>. I gave address. On <date>, the washer reached my place. After installation, I issued a cheque to the delivery guy. He chopped paid on the invoice. That's all. Btw, the delivery guys were from agent. They only got a faxed order copy fr GAB. So far so gd.
vitra 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2011 I also ordered Hood, Hob and oven from GAB. No issue. The most convenient thing is i don't have to go down and save me all trouble. Singapore no need to be kiasi and kiasu everything invoice. This is how small shop can compete with the big one in terms of such service.

shaunl 0 Report post Posted June 7, 2011 I believed they have noted your order and awaiting for your instructions on when to deliver them.Let me share with you my experience:I went down to GAB in early April to shop for all my electrical appliances. The SA was very friendly and knowledgeable, he knows the pros and cons of all major brands and will give you advice on which brand to buy based on your needs/budget.In the end he suggested I choose RINNAI gas hod+hood and BOSCH appliances for:WasherDryerWine coolerDishwasherInduction HobConventional OvenMicrowave ovenHe took down my orders and asked me to call him a week before delivery.I was prepared to pay a downpayment / or in full but he insisted that there no need to.He promised me as long as at the time I placed order and there is stock from suppliers, he would keep the inventory for me.In May, when I visited the Harvey Norman shop in Suntec City, while browsing the BOSCH department, the SA told me that the induction hob is out of stock and gotta wait till late June/early July. I immediately called up GAB, expecting to be informed that my induction hob would be delayed but to my surprise, they told me all my items are reserved and waiting for my delivery.I am moving into my new apartment this Friday and all the appliances are in place in my kitchen!I am very impressed with GAB's customer service. They may not always have the cheapest deal in town but the service you received is definitely worth it.Just would like to share my personal opinion.hope this helps!
