sng28 2 Report post Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) Alot of shopping over the weekend...dead tired...as it uses alot of brain cells....nt many pics as I didnt take any but here's 1 for today..my tilesFrom left to right: common toilet, kitchen tile and last one is eh nice but i didnt pick coz i'm afraid my kitchen be too dark as my cabinet concept is mixture or black and woodgrain :sport-smiley-018: Lesson learnt: At first pick the first tile which only has 30x30 as 30x60 is out of stock and i can't wait so decide its okie to use 30x30 for both kitchen and toilet.Went home realised..30x60 and 30x30 main diff is GROUT LINES! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :furious: thats one of my main reason why i'm hacking the floor the grout lines left my ex owner are sticky..black and oily......line are filled with grout soo thick...yucks..okie so having a 30x60 will have half the grout lines by length at least...so LL...call ID say i want change ..told him i'm gng back to pick again and will update the lady at the counter of my selection.. hmm actually the selection my id say can pick hor..nt within the amt stated in my quotation and he didnt mention about topping up..so bros and sis..will you take it as its already included in the price Edited May 2, 2011 by sng28 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I am not a pro here but I have been wondering what theme are you doing cos it seems that the laminates you pick is a bit strong and darker in tone. I'm looking at erms theme..good one..jaskel ask me that..i saw warm and modern...warm(woodgrain) modern(glossy black) hahaha crappy right but its sth along that line..woodgrains laminates i will pick only 2-3 max...if not too messy...hahahai duno how to describe but my WIW will look like this kitchen will be along this lineMBR is a mixture of brown, white black i think..yet to decide...so eh duno if there's a name for such combi..kekeke thanks for your well wishes! hope yours is gng on fine too! sng28 2 Report post Posted May 3, 2011 (edited) a little prob..not sure any bros or sis can shed some enlighten...i'm runnning out of fuelmy developer..jiak my tiles...took away my vanity..piang hollow behind...i intend to do a vanity at the area on the right where i've hacked my bathtub..nt keen to L it over just to cover that hole...any suggestions...? :unsure: my last resort is mirror..full lenght..coz i'm a little timid..hahahaha scared at night want to use toilet and abit scared to look in the mirror..wanna say mirror face MBR window!!!!!! but ya hor gng to draw curtains :D so my imagination wont run wild...ahhahahaIf not mirror, tot of putting curtains/blinds at that area..to dian zui..and make it look nicer ..not sure which type as this is toilet and i'm worried abt mould....and if i do what am i supposed to do with the hole.. :help: it will be difficult to find back similar marble tiles....any ideas at all bro and sis Edited May 3, 2011 by sng28 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Hi sng28, the first picture texture i think i have seen it at Hafary Defu Lane showroom near the counter. It is not the exact texture but quite close to it and also on dark grayish colour.
