U should find "Liu De Hua" So far i cant find any ID tat can match with his price...

He just done my EM. Worksmanship is good n most important after sale service... Good

I also got ask for quote from them before.. Hee. Its really much cheaper than others, but i realised their quotes don't state a lot of things clearly and found their design abit not to our taste so decided to drop them.. but personal opinion la =) Imagine i got 4 quotes and i list them down all in excel and compare 1 by 1!hahahahaa think i too free back then =P

Hahaha, u gd laa, still last for 8.. I do 4 alrdy cannot take it.. end up decided that the more we see, the more confused it gets and all the things sama sama, it depends on whether the ID wan give u discount more & whether u can click with him/her lor..

Finally manage to narrow to list to 9! Still alot but decided to give them a chance to impress.

Manage to meet up with Senz Contract and Services and Summit Design Studio earlier and here is my feedback.

Senz Contract and Services

Kelvin came on the dot and agree to meet at our convenience. He is very personal in his approach and would give some suggestions from his previous experience. He has indicated that he has just completed 4 project last month. There is no hard sell from this guy and he gives and accept ideas. I thought he is quite funny while wifey says he has dry humor. I will be waiting for his quotation again as there are some changes. For a contractor, i would give him a 7 on our first meeting.

Dennis from Summit Design was suppose to me us at 7pm but we last minute sms him to meet earlier and he willingly agree without complaint. He is very professional and handed me his name card when we met. As a ID, he does provide 2D drawings and is very open to what we want to do. As there were some changes to what we wanted, ask him for a rough quotation and got a shock! 20K.... ahahhahaah hmm, my budget was 15K. He did mentioned that we can discuss and see if we can work on the things we want rather than giving us cheap and compromise on the materials.... They gives 5 years warranty and this in a way shows that their quality is good. Personally, i find him not bad too but have to discuss on the price.

hahaha i also did a side-by-side comparison on excel before, tiring but i think the exercise does help me understand the quotes better~

I used him earlier this year, initially things were fine...but his carpenter made a mess of everything... the carpenters he used were inexperienced, causing a lot of problems for my renovation. The boss of his carpentry even told me he sacked his guys becos of this...as it also happened to another renovation.

Eventually, I've got a lot of faults with the reno and till now (less than few months), most of my stuffs are starting to fall apart. Though he is the contractor, I seemed to be doing most of his job.

I refused to pay the remaining balance and he filed for Small Claims. I won the case, because I had all the photos and messages as proof. Settled for discounts on the balance. However before even paying him, I realised a lot more faults on my carpentry, and I told him it's either you rectify else I won't be paying a single cent - we can go settle this in front of the judge.

He never reply my message...and then today...I receive a call from the Debt Collector... so he apparently engaged someone, wanting to collect back the money.
