boohoo 1 Report post Posted April 10, 2011 When you say electric shower i assume you mean an electric hot water heater. You will need a plumber. An electrician may not know that much about your heater and any plumber should know the wiring for one. If it is an old heater then chances are very good you will need a new one. There may be a problem with the wires but it's more likely your element or thermostat are bad. I believe most plumbers will not even show unless they charge a service charge.
