Curtain **** Area Or Balcony Window? Help

Dear friends, need your advise on where to put curtain!

We plan to hack off the balcony glass door and build a raised platform with laminate at balcony as cosy corner. We are now thinking of whether to put the full length curtain at living room/balcony area (original area when the door is not hacked) or we should put the full length curtain at balcony window?

Will it be weird to put curtain at living room/balcony since there's no door now?

I had the same issue except that I had two sets. Curtain at the living room, blinds at balcony. Looks really odd and now I'm thinking of removing the living's.
