supremo68 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2011 Hi All, 3.5 years after we renovated our HDB Resale flat, wherein we installed wood laminate floor for the whole house, a small section near the kitchen has developed bubbles which is most likely caused by a single time when somebody cleaned the kitchen floor and the water seeped through the living room area. No choice but to get it repaired i guess. However, because my reno company now ceased to exist, and the receipt I have does not mention the brand used, how will I know what brand I have in my house? At least I'll be sure that they have the exact same color so that I could just buy for the area to repaired. Well, at least that's what I think Has anybody done any repair on their laminated floor? Thanks, Don
jdf 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2011 If you know the brand of your laminate, you should call the singapore distributor who will then advise you.Since it's only been 3.5 years, chances are, the company is still in existence, unlike mine - closed shop already. Thanks,DonWell, if you remove 1 board, the behind side would have the brand name, from there ...find the distributor, if no distributor, find the manufacturer overseas.... buy a few pieces of your same colour and pattern, and get a local laminate flooring company to install it. You won't be able to DIY.
