Terrazzo Flooring!

Hi All,

My wife and I just purchased a resale 4-room which comes with old terrazzo tiles (the ones with spots of brown). We are on a tight budget and are trying to make do with the flooring. The terrazzo is old (over 30 yrs) and has patches of stains. Would polishing be able to remove all the stains?

Anyone has any ideas/pics on how to match the wall colours and furniture to the flooring? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

i dun think polishing can remove stains...

anyway, last year's home and decor magazine got someone who retained the 30+ yrs old terrazzo, the whole effect looks great. forgot which issue liao... you can look for it in the library or at home and decor website

Thanks Marshmallow! we've decided to change the flooring.. all contractors who came by can't guarantee the stains can be removed too.. no point risking it
