Day 8 (28/3/2011)

The new door frame is up. (Change the door frame because the old door opens to the right; which will block the newly hacked entrance)

Day 12 continue...

T5 lights outside the TV room...

Laminated platform inside the TV room. =)

th_day12TVRoomB.jpg

KDK Ceiling fan M11SU "Silver" ($180 from KONG TAI TRADING) for days when aircon is not needed. Too bad the electrician didn't install it well. The fan is a bit off center and gives a "scratching" sound everytime it spin. Don't dare to turn it on untill it is fixed.

Matching Kitchen lights and service balcony lights

th_day12KitchenLights.jpg

Somehow one of the light inside the the service balcony light is not working... will check with ID tmr.

Storeroom uses this "ES holder" that cost $10 only including the bulb. Cheap!

th_day12MasterBedroomA.jpg

The KDK Ceiling fan M11SU is installed properly here. For $180, it is a good buy.

th_day12MasterBedroomB.jpg

Will throw a king-size mattress on top and that's it! no need for bedframe.

Ceiling lights for the walk-in wardrobe:

The individual light bulb can be adjusted to shine where light is needed.

Hi! You house seems to be coming along just great, can't wait to see the final look :)

I'm also interested in Sky creations, could you please (much appreciation!) PM me your quotation and breakdown?

We're also thinking about a platform bed, do you think lamination will stand up to the test of time?

Thanks for any input and also for your informative thread!

Sure! Yesterday we tried jumping on the platform... feels ok. There is a lot of "ribs" underneath so it should be able to hold haha.

Send you the quotation via PM..
