Hi,

Has been a silent reader for the past few months. I must say this forum has help us a lot!

Now that the reno for our 15 years old resale flat started a few days ago (21th March 2011); I guess it is time for us contribute back to the forum:

Join the master bedroom with the adjacent bedroom to create space for study and walk-in wardrobe.

Relocate the master bathroom entrance to open directly into the walk-in wardrobe.

Partition a fully enclosed TV room in the living room.

Congrats in starting your t-blog!!! Your flat is really very spacious.... no wonder you would rather reno than buy another unit. At a very central location too!!!

Can't wait to see the transformation!

Day 5:

Today the Opennet installers came to install the fiber optical terminal (guy in purple).

The terminal's cables ran along the trunking done by my ID and will be concealed by the TV wall feature/console.

The friendly opennet uncle even snip off a bit of the cable to show me how thin they are.

Day 6:

My ID works very fast... The progress is astonishing!

Living: The old entrance to the Master bedroom is sealed already

Living: Even the partition for the TV room is up already. The big lobang is for the glass panel. so that one can see the TV from the dining area.

Living: The false ceiling for the dining area is up also.

Living: Installers from GAIN CITY came to install piping for the house. The L-box for the TV room is also done.

Kitchen: All the flooring is hacked away. New tiles are being laid and the base for the kitchen cabinet is in progress)

Can I know which ID you have sign up with too? Pls share with me your experience and why you have decided to choose them.

Also, can I know the reno costs and breakdown too?

Currently shortlisting ID/contractors and working out budget..
