LADY_R 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2011 LOVE your kitchen, and ALL that storage space! A hoarder's fantasy! I got an island hood too, but not as pretty as yours. Mine is a Bosch that was $2k+ *cringe* Had no choice between island/chimmney hoods so am really hating that purchase. Seems like it was too expensive, I would have gotten yours instead Congrats on moving in! I feel like I'm the last - ElyHi Sis Ely..thank u for the compliment. On the bright side, it doesn't matter if u're the first or last to move in..important is ur dream house is perfect in every angle Ur hood is $2k+ heee too expensive for me.. but hey who knows if u cook and use it everyday..it might worth the $$$ right
May_dream1 14 Report post Posted May 10, 2011 Have u finished unpacking? Maybe now u see small but once u keep everything might be able to squeeze in.. I have too many plastic container & have to throw some..or else my cabinet be full of junks..heee I even have 1 shelve with all the paper plates/bowl/spoon/fork/cup/plastic all bought from SKP long ago.. My husband told me I can open 1 SKP shop! Kitchen and bedroom are all unpacked. What is left is just some stuff for study room which is non existence. So having hard time to unpack those. Then u can use all SKP for your house warming and anytime u have parties.

Since they are new in this industry and we are the 1st few batch, I guess we able to get this price <img src="http://www.renotalk.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> If the demand is overwhelming, I guess price should be high too. Quality wise, the glass is 12mm tempered glass. Each window can be slide till the end. heee..I still haven't totally experience with the window.. I can only review it after we move in.I will also take some picture how it works once my MBR clear, if not once the reno complete <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />Hey Lady_R,About the windows, does it open outwards or inwards? Because it was all around that $2k mark even at Hoe Kee! So, I assumed the prices were all the same. D.A.R.N, you should have shared the hood purchase earlier!! So much savings My hob is about $500, so total damage is almost $2.7k!! SIGH. My bill from HN alone is $13k+ (hob, hood, washer, dryer, 2 TVs, oven, fridge, vacuum cleaner, wine chiller - apart from the 46" tv, the hood is the most expensive) - very heart pain -Ely
