Any feedback on Imperial Stones Pte Ltd?

They are offering Granite top at $65 per ft run, but not sure of their quality, so I would like to ask if anyone have done their counter top with them.

Sound like a really good price. I suppose a question would be where is the granite from. Eg, I hear that granite from China is cheaper but might be more prone to staining than granite from India (I have no personal experience with this though). And then, even from the same origin, there are different levels of pricing too. So if you can identify the country and type/model of the granite that you want, then go get quotes for the same thing from other shops.

And finally, you need to be confident of their workmanship. Here's where talking to previous customers would help, if you can get in touch with them.

I was quoted $80 /fr (Indian black granite). Sure sounds cheap compare to lotsa other surface.

Seriously I don't know how. The only thing I can do is check if there are any bad publicity about this firm, if don't have, will have to assume they are delivering quality stuff where no one complain ba.

Think reno is like that.

My last BTO, I uses the came ID coy as my friend, his ID design so so, but contractor work dam good. So I follow lor, uses different ID, ID design solid, dam good, love it, but suay, contractor work so so, quality not as good as my friend one. So a little luck plays ba. ; )

ID will quote a little more ex, as they have profit margin to meet. As the flow goes like, supplier -> main contractor -> ID. So main contractor and ID wants a cut of their profit so, the price is markup. Direct from supplier price will be around $90 per feet. If from main contractor about $110 per feet, so ID wants some cut, increase of about $10 or even more. That's why sometimes we need to be a smart consumers.

Usually ID will quote you 2 times the price they were quoted by their contractors or suppliers, the more naive the customer, the more carrot for them to chop.
