collins 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2011 (edited) It is not easy if your rooms do not enjoy adequate natural lighting in the absence of false ceiling and L-box as many light fittings are recess mounted. Consider large size pendant light or ceiling light. Make sure they are big so that there is sufficient light emitting surface for the rooms. If the walls appear too blank and dark, you can consider adding track light and nice table lamps to illuminate and highlight certain areas in the room, otherwise ceiling/pendant light alone might make the rooms look dull and flat.
