I received my stuff without much issue even though I paid 100% on the spot.However I do not believe he dun do retail as he always seem to be at the shop lolThanks for your reply Fortunecat! I was served by him too and he indeed sounds sincere and explained a lot of stuff. Abit worried now.i paid in full because want to meet some min sum for a credit card promotion, though not recommended unless necessary.received my stuff in good condition and on time, except a mattress which was delayed a few days. Order a Marble Dining Table in May 2011 and finally arranged for delivery on 3rd April 2012. So I took a Half day leave to wait for the delivery which is 4-6pm. When my dining table finally arrived, the delivery guys then found out that the metal frame was of different design with the Table legs, their logistics had make a mistake. So next day, they delivered again with the correct frame and of cos I have to take another half day leave to wait for the delivery. When the guys have assembled all the metal frames and legs, I noticed there is a missing screw in one of the legs. The China delivery guy explained to me that this is "Normal" to have missing screws. I was shock at first and though that ok..since he said tat I don't want to argue with him ..so they went on next to unwrap the main component which is the Marble Top. Two guys carried the Marble out and when they tried to lift up the marble..it suddenly broke into half..They said there was already a crack on the marble hence spilt into half. They told me they will check whether there is any stock in their warehouse and will contact me asap. But till now, nobody from X'clusive Home has yet to contact me and explain to me what is the status of my dining table. I am trying to get back my deposit base on the reasons, 1stly, I have doubts on the quality of the Marble top and 2ndly, is their Logistics. Miscommunication and also the two delivery guys look so inexperience and one even dare to told me tat missing screw is normal. Wen they deliver I didn't check the stuff. After a few days I realize there were scratchs on my coffee table,n my sofa have pimples. I called the sales girl,she said she will sent her Warehse guy to check.I wait wait wait 1 month wen. Then I call her again,all the excuses ,she agreed she change a new set,even without seeing the products.....waited another 2weeks+. Sofa came in ,also the same problem,pimples. Pimples meaning if I rub it ,it peels off.....coffee table never cme....call again.....sorry the guys forget ur coffee table.....about the sofa she said it's a new set. I said Yes it's new but still have pimples...took pictures n emailed to her....then no sound till I have to call every now n then..after another week then came coffee table for exchanging...new table but the stainless steel still had scratches....I called her again n again wen on leave la off la balabalabala. ,wen got her I gave her my peace of mind.....she said will give discount after talking to h boss....I told I don't wan the discount,I paid 2.5k....ur products don't have quality, pls cme n take back your stuff n make a full refund. She ask her manager to visit n rectify the problem.he came after another 2weeks, explained to him n he changed another new coffee table n sofa wise he remove all the pimples n dye the places again.....still can't accept bt jus gave up n stack with it.....cas the sofa was jus nice for my living room....ask about the sale girl ,she no more with us...... it all took about 3 to 4 months.....After eight months jus happen to visit the jurng branch,was looking for dinning table which was the last item I haven't buy for my house...saw a dinning set which was very attractive n got my attention. Another sales girl.......talk talk talk....I told her my experience with exclusive n not going to buy anything....jus came to see design.....bt she promise me here not like that la ,we take care of customers la balabalabala......so since I liked the dinning set very much ,told myself give another try la.....stupid of me ........1)delivery came,wrong colour. 2)the next day,another delivery to change ,the marble table had a scratch.3)the guys wen to change the same day n came,the marble had a chip.4)after a week ,came a new set ,the marble ok ,bt the wood below warp......n the chairs start to peel off..... Enough is enough....no more patience.....told the salesgirl I don't wan the set.....she came down with her lady manager....saw n took pictures .....n best part the table came from PRC......she said will change a set from a new shipment , I said no ,pls take ur stuff back......n refund me ....told her about the quality of their products are very lousy......but the prices u see very high end .....nice design nice to see......bt lousy stuffs..........my dining set cost me 1.5k. I agree with you. Hiccups happen all the time. And we get whatever we pay for. Just don't expect too much if we are not paying for the price. hahaha... man, i hope mine deliver on time. I will update later when I get my goods. Anyone else, please feel free to share your experience. Told them to bring back for replacement. Coffee table that i purchased had a door that juts out when closed. The "Phantom Chair" that i bought had some small stains on it but those are easily cleaned off.2 weeks later when they redelivered the bench, the delivery people realigned the door of the coffee table and it doesn't juts out anymore. The 2nd bench they delivered was free from defect. Overall, me and my wife are happy with the quality of their products, given their price. Could have been a better experience if everything went smoothly during the first delivery but well, i think hiccups are unavoidable in life.So it took them 3 months to deliver? vex 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 (edited) bad service attitude should not be condoned.but we also have to understand that as consumers, we buy furniture once in a few years, but for the furniture salesman, they deal with customers everyday. so while the cusstomers will be very careful with their purchase decisons, sales people are usually less patient. hence the conflicting expectations.
