ne0mesis 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2011 this is my layout plan should have some changes to come. can anyone give me some more ideas? tnks hi there, just caught with your tblog. hiccups or not nevertheless, congrats on getting yr EA ya. stay positive and everything will happen smoothly my 2 cents view below ya; high floor? if yes, keep that balcony!!! is nicely tucked in a corner and i think it can really be therapeutic if done tastefully ya. i will definitely remove the drop and level it to living rm though. agree with hafiizh that current set up seems limiting and pushing everything to that corner. kitchen wise, the triangle work flow seems long but suppose is fine. if cooking is norm for you two, always cater for a bigger and deeper sink. size matters here! looking at the length, i will definitely have bottom cabinets only. i never really like top and bottom unless done superbly minimalistic. but that's my opinion of course. plus you save lots of carpentry looking at this 6m run of kitchen cabinets! how long do you intend to stay in this EA? planning for a kid during the stay in the EA. suppose gd to have that in mind so that a room can be readily transformed into a baby room jus a word of reminder, is ideal to have a toilet attached with the wiw but do check your intention of usage inside that toilet. if dry dry most of the time or jus use for getting ready to work or out, i suppose is fine. but say you are going to shower most of the time there and used towels draping inside, then you better have provisions to make sure your clothes inside wiw does not have moldy smell, esp your wiw is open with no doors. not that it happens to mine, but i hear stories of such. agree with hafiizh too on 1 study room but again it depends on your usage. if absolutely a necessary, then by all means. otherwise, i do feel a little waste though. yeap, tat's all for now. more 3d pics pse! last but not least, welcome to RT. Tnks bro, i also think tat everything was push to the corner when i saw my layout already told my ID abt it his going to edit some of the items. As u side mine is at the top floor so view is great from my flat will take pics of it next time. as for a baby's room as u can see the old study i convert into a bedroom the layout inside is just a guide i only done up laminated floorings it the rest my 5 year old daughter will choose her layout with the help from my wife hehe. Kitchen i got all top and bottom shelves as my in-law are staying with us and she have alot of stuffs like pots and dishes which needs a lot of space and she cooks almost everyday which makes me fatter every moment LOL. Every time when IPPT comes i need to diet and train like Crazy haha. i should be staying here for a least until my daughter complete her studies as both Pri & Sec tat my wife wanted to enrol is walking distance away. last but not lease is the problem with the WIW i also thinking of having Doors to cover all the clothes like in my 3D but with it will make my walk in look very square and dull it will not have the effect of the WIW liao haiz... wat u guys think if got ladies hope to have ideas from them also. i heard alot of ppl say a WIW must be open if u cannot walk it its just a plain wardrobe. but the after effect of mold and dust power haha. so must find ways to counter ATTACK. i will be installing a fan in the toilet window hoping it will help and try to make my door tighter with rubber seals at all sides. as u can see inside the 3D tat is not my study, its my game room wakakaka for my Xbox & PS3 with my Racing seats and wheels attached will post pic of it soon. neOmesis i like ur living and kitchen **** power lol. by the way looking at ur nick is ur surname Neo? lol Edited April 10, 2011 by demonyi

SGK 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2011 this is my layout plan should have some changes to come. can anyone give me some more ideas? tnks I like your WIW. Is the chest of drawers necessary? It seems to take up a lot of space. Maybe you can construct a smaller one at the MBR wall between the bedside table and the door to the WIW. This will make the WIW very comfortable. Contrary to other bloggers, I would like to have a larger study. My wife and I spent a lot of time in the study. So two seats is necessary. Anyway, happy reno.
