adidaem 6 Report post Posted August 21, 2011 Yo, can do me a big favor?? i sua ku never see those sheet b4. Can take a foto post it here so i can know what i am gonna look for? There you go... btw Taka no longer sell those plastic sheets. This is how plastic sheets are sold for those who've never seen them. The one on the right (which I got) costs $4/yard. The really really thick 'stick on' type which the shopkeeper said is heat resistant is $16/yard in the middle. The right-most one is the typical one used for wrapping textbooks when I was young... $1/yard.

boyblunder 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2011 Heh, I also like the reflection of lights on dining table. (tat's partly y I bought a high-gloss dining table myself)High gloss glass= prweetty = finger prints and easily scratched too.
adidaem 6 Report post Posted August 22, 2011 High gloss glass= prweetty = finger prints and easily scratched too.We considered glass table-top too and based on salesman advice... - Black glass = fingerprints can be seen more easily- White glass = fingerprints are less obvious, but costs more than black glass cos a good/pure white glass is harder to make (most glass has a tinge of green) As for clear glass, we were not comfortable with the idea that we/guests can see each others feet... and we also didn't want glass with greenish tinge (almost impossible to find). Did see some gorgeous tables with really nice bases that tempted us tho. Overall, I still think glass is easier to maintain than wood cos no worries about burnt marks and water marks right? Anyway, totally auntie me still end up getting plastic sheets for the table, so maybe no diff anyway... haha, we decided not to tell our IDs we got plastic sheets... will put up the sheets after their photo taking. adidaem 6 Report post Posted August 22, 2011 ... ... Liddat how to get the sticky type? Must have super long ruler standby to kill bubblesHuh? It's just like draping a (plastic) table cloth right? Not fixed/taped on one unless you want to go for the $16/yard version which will cause problem when the table is extended... Btw I forgot to take photos of the other varieties available, e.g. in fake plastic lace and some prints. Clear works for me lar, but if they sell means there is demand for patterned plastic right? Rover 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2011 Anyway, if u are able to get those sticky type, juz mix a little soap wif water into the spray gun (those u use for ironing), and spray onto the tape before applying. The mild soap mixture will help u to paste the tape easily as well as to remove the bubbles.

lymmlim 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2013 Hi folks, I finally gathered enough courage to start my own T-Blog after reading so many inspiring ones quietly. Just went for our 1st appointment not too long along, and barring any additional delay than the extension that we are probably give to the current owners, we should be getting our keys in the beginning of May.Hopefully, we can share our experiences long the way as i go along with my renovation and get pointers from all the experienced peeps here. Got a few quotes from a few IDs already and all i can say is,"Kill Me!!"Anyway, heres the Floor plan of our new place; The HouseHi I recently bought EM near Tampines mall and your floor plan is same as mine.
