Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request
Again I'm not sure is there a need that you write so aggressively? I did not criticize but pass a very general remark that is out of sharing for any learner to be aware of getting the right teacher. It is out of good intention but it seems that you keep jumping to the wrong conclusions :)

Did I say I'm better than him?? I just help to put forth an advice that if a person can teach, he should also be able to live demo, isn't it true? You won't want a coach to lecture you on tennis but he himself can't even do a top-spin!!

Again its up to you, if you want to blindly jump into a course and dare not even test or ask the teacher to prove himself, well its your call, I've been too noosey :)

I'm a nobody but just happen to get some feng shui knowledge from some coffeshop old men gatherings. As I understand from them, there are such 'body' or association in China, Taiwan and HongKong. Titles are thus recognised. They also hold research and have a set of code of ethics for practises.

hi, may i know if those old man who are having coffee, or those fsm from HK, TW.....and so on, give live demo, if so, these are the ppl that i have been seaching and wanted to learn from. Admire you have the luck to learn from them.

If can, please pm me on how to contact these ppl. Thank

Message already :)

Nothing to do with luck, I was introduced to them by my sifu. Mostly retirees and they don't anyhow teach like others for course fee. All is 缘 :)

To our deaest Mr. Cannot,

GM Vincent Koh no play play, has students > 1k over many countries.

We all know that coffee shops are "unofficial info exchange centres", info exchange there all bo chun one le, watch out. Class room info exchange more "chun", "official" & "professional" some more in between got refreshment(water), but sure no 黄泉水. Only the death know the taste of(corrected) this water, VK may have been tasted it before and come back to tell the live ones. Ghosts themselves are not scary, only the one who create ghost need to be wary of.

What're we talking about? Let it be?Chinese say : 言多必失, amgmor say: leafy trees bear no fruits. I better stop here. Last(corrected) but not least, I guessed 孔子must have ahd somehow smoewhat agitated by xx & xx and therefore conmented: 唯xx与xx难养也。共勉之。

Kita sedang cakap :)

No need fanciful title. Just address any FSM as Mr xxx or Mrs yyy, isn't it much easier ?

Furthermore in the court of law system, fengshui "strategies" cannot be used as Evidence or Defamation (eg i say fsm is no good, he cannot sue me right ?), etc ..so fengshui is out completely.

It is only human like us to believe or choose to believe.

To our deaest Mr. Cannot,

Wow, Now I'm given names :)

Do I have some option of names? :)

GM Vincent Koh no play play, has students > 1k over many countries.

Am I suppose to feel threatened? :)

Just for info, there are thousands of masters in China and Taiwan, each also having thousands of students. I really don't understand the meaning of your phrase :) Is it because he has many students, I can't comment on his book? This is jjust a curious question, again hope not offensive :)

Thank you for your "advice". My neighbour is going to visit a TCM who has a title "specialist", what's your opinion, shall I advice her to check first or better keep my mouth shut :)

Same sentiments, was wondering if there's a need at all. If there is such a title, who is to gauge the standard. I still prefer to chat with those masters who has no air about their lives or acheivements :)

Though I did press translation from C to E during NS time, this is my first try from M to E. Still the "same name" but in different languages.

Simple logic: a class of 10 ppls, and 1 month one class, would take 1000/120 = abt 10 years. Can you meet the same "unoffiicial shifu" at the same coffee shop for 10 years? I'm already at age of 不惑之年, no longer fond of argue for sack of argument. Remember : 冰冻三尺非一日之寒.

Thank you for your "advice". My neighbour is going to visit a TCM who has a title "specialist", what's your opinion, shall I advice her to check first or better keep my mouth shut :)

Singapore law requires the word "specialist" be removed from all TCM practioners' clinic, namecard, advertisement....why? You should know better. I would have kept my mouth shut if he/she is "just" my neighbour, unless he/she ask for recommendtion. Good intention at first might end with ill effects.....

Before the recent law enforced, some TCMs use their own judgement or marketing strategy to self-address 'specialist' title. What I'm trying to put across is that as its not a regulated industry, 'anybody' can stick their own title. For a consumer's perspective, this can be misleading, nobody can deny that isn't it?

Your helpfulness with your neighbour is respected. My neighbour and we are very close as we always visit each other or share dishes. That's why I can't shut my mouth :)

For your sharings in previous posts, isn't this statement a bit contradictory? :) (I have been tactful in posting but maybe haven't reach your standard)
