The Best Journey Always Leads Us Home

Recommended Posts

Excellent choice of collar for the cat. The blue goes marvelously well with the cat's grey fur. You have got exquisite taste.

Thank you, sir. The brown is supposed to bring out his copper eyes  Btw, the cat's fur is considered "blue" in the cat fancier's world :)

on the downlights: i think 8 will be good. i also have 8 downlights at the dining area though my home is so much smaller than yours~ while we only use 4 during normal days, it's definitely useful to have all 8 of them when you're doing cleaning... :P eye sight starting to fail liao, need bright environment to see the dirts clearly

talking about framed art pieces, there was once we chanced upon a Romero Britto exhibition.

hubby likes this cute and joyous style so much that he was set on put some of them at home. and i actually (stupidly) agreed to draw some after moving in... as expected, i've yet to do it cos i'm simply too lazy, and i'm sure hubby is also too lazy to decide where to hang the pictures~

yea i also wanna see your buys from molecule and iwannagohome~ :)

I do actually really paint my own lol, though I do it horribly! Here's one I did, also about a cat, at one of the places I lived in in Perth:

And um... abstract...

the cat one is cute~ :)

hahaha sorry i'm not into abstract art... you know what my classmate said when we visited a modern art exhibition? she was looking at a Kandinsky (or Pollock? can't remember) and said "I also know how to draw this, just that i'm not the first one to do this so i can't get famous! Hmph!".....

Doing my best to fulfil the complimentary 1-month Amazon Prime membership!

Here's today's haul:

Cuisinart Brew Central - sorry but we love our coffee, needed one drip machine in addition to our Bodum french press, and espresso machine (which was promised to be a housewarming gift :D) Also got 3 water filters (1 year supply) because we don't carry Cuisinart coffee machines in Singapore so best to stock up now.

have i missed much? d a r n, I had.

lightings wise.. imho and my own preference too, less is more.

perhaps, your place is bigger but i seen my mates' place overrun with downlights and i mean REALLY. i tot i was at some disco

suppose u done your homework and had discuss with yr ids regarding your lightings and thus the design.

can't wait to see the lightings on the metal art!

am still buying time for my HTS set-up but i suppose where to head to for info.

meanwhile, my dl supposedly HD quality movies from funshion website shall suffice - gd to watch on laptop, but once with HDMI cable to my tv, it starts to suffer.

WERE YOU AT GREATWORLD? hahah.. molecule, IWANNAGOHOME and lifestorey the few places i sure browse through whenever i'm there.

and i really really like that cat of yours!

is so pretty! totally a champion!

OXO!!!! i love their products.

and was so close to buying online through comgateway the kitchen towel stand you have. alas, wife was concerned bout shipping cost.

in the end, she still got her katespade bag and i could only settle for my oxo good grips silicone drying mat (but turned out to be a darling on my kitchen island!).

incidentally, you can see my oxo mat in my next update!

Not sure if there's too many but we know we won't use half of them, or at all. I'm more a desk lamp/candles type of girl :P

Stop being a slacker and get to work on the HTS! /cracks whip

Very, very rarely at Great World but felt like I was passing out from excitement when I went to iwannagohome. Am planning a trip to Hommage before I confirm my choice of sofa.

and i really really dig that pussy cat of yours!

is so pretty! totally a champion!

And I'm annoyed going to ignore the conntation. :P But yes, Bondi is a pretty kitty - he's coming home in 13 days!! I can't wait to see him!

I knew I HAD to get the Good Grips towel holder. It's looks as good as it's practicality. :D The soap squirting brush is more of a novelty, but the reviews are great, and it also means I'd need less hand cream! :D
