First Time Renovating

hi guys i will be getting the keys to my 4rm hdb next month. as this is my first reno, can you guys kindly advise on the amt of money needed to renovate my flat? i have taken up the tiles offered by hdb and below are the items of renovation that i am looking for:

1. Light box for living room (With installation of 10 lights)

2. Kitchen Cabinet (10ft Top and Bottom)

3. Shower Screens for both toilets

4. Vanity Tops for sinks of both toilets

5. Plumbing Works

is there anything else that i should take note of?

Hi edmundtwx, based on your descriptions, 10k budget should be a reasonable price which includes e following items.

- Kitchen Cabinet + Solid Top

- False Ceiling for Living Room

- x 2 Shower Screen

- Electrical works for living work false ceiling & Basic wirings

- Plumbing works for kitchen

- Vanity + vanity top for x 2 toilets

- Painting

As Listed, I noticed that there are no designs involved except for the false ceiling design so i would advise u to go for a contractor rather than ID and depending on the contractor price, it may even cost lesser than 10k to do up ur house. cheers

Thanks a lot, do you have any contractors to recommend. Really have no idea where to start. 10k should still be manageable:)
