Diy Solar Film

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Weather is getting hotter each day!

I have completed applying the solar film for my whole house at less than $300 material cost by following the simple instructions on Youtube

Bought material from shop, followed instructions & DIY to save workmanship of about $600 whole house (5-rm).

Since I have balance unused film of 4.5m(length) x 1.5m(width), I am selling it to those who wish to DIY.

Bought $17/m now selling 30% discount at $12/m for 4.5m -- $54 only. Will throw in some unused cut-out ones FOC. Specs: Light Green CX05; 45% VLT(Visible Light Trx) & 55% IR.

I am fully satisfied with the material --can reject heat well and at the same time the view is not dark. Color is Good for most condos as it does not stand out and avoids trouble with Mgmt Comm.

How long does it take you to complete applying the whole house?

sounds like a great idea!

I ever tried pasting matt black sticker on the windows at my workplace's meeting room to block out the sun for our Projector. It just took us less than 30 mins to settle 3 windows. I'm sure it'll work the same for those tinted type of stickers. Stickers can be found at those car decal and bike decal shops. Though TS is selling wayyy cheaper! :)

Neways, ways to do it is to first make sure you close the window TIGHTLY, then comes the soap water and tinted stickers :) Might be doing it for my new house when i move in :)
