addymummy 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2011 We purchased a decorative ceiling fan on the 1st of March. However in just 3 days after the installation, the balancing device on the fan fell off. 2 weeks later, the same problem occurred. My husband then called the company on the 22nd Mar to arrange for servicing. He called the company 4 times to speak with the manager when he did not receive any calls to fix an appointment; only to be told she was busy and would call him back. He spent the rest of the week waiting in vain, so I called them up on the 25th to try to arrange for a technician. I, too did not receive any calls, so I made 2 more calls. On the final 7th call, the girl who answered my call even mentioned that my husband had called to speak to the manager. This showed that the company was well aware of our calls. It has been more than a month since then. I have long given up on the company calling us. I am totally disappointed with the lack of service. Are there any other companies out there who are able to do fan balancing?

(if it's using ball joint type of mounting)Hope this pal Edited August 1, 2011 by bro
