Air Cleaners/air Purifiers

I am looking for an air purifier or air cleaner for my living room. But I am not sure which brand is a good one and which brand is worth the money?

Currently, my cousin had asked his friend to demo an air purfier from AMWAY, Atmosphere. (FYI, my cousin and his friend came all the way from JB to loan the set for demo). I am kinda sceptical as it is from AMWAY and the price is killer 2k singapore dollars? When I did a google it is only like USD 800 in US.

Anyway, it is now in my living room, just want to see does air purifier works or not.

I have saw so many brands out there but not sure which is good and of good value?

Any recommendation?

The Amway is an expensive air purifier, has a average performance rating and needs expensive filter replacements often. I live in a large apartment in a city full of dust and chemicals. I looked long and hard before I decided on my air purifier, being concerned that I would get the wrong one. I finally bought the HealthMate Plus. It is guaranteed to last 5 years with no filter replacements. I found many who claimed that it does a great job of remove particles and gases. It was also less than $600 us dollars. It seemed to be one of the best I could find that was fairly priced and had a lot of satisfied customers.

Yes they do work in my opinion if you get a good one like the one I have. I could tell the difference within a few hours of plugging it in.
