Meowalot 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 Moving into new flat. Would like to bring over my current 4-burner stove hob. But don't want to have ceramic support cum cabinet again. Thinking of having a stainless steel support with wheels. Does anyone know where I can buy this or get it made? So far went to one shop and was quoted $1,800 for making stainless steel support cabinet on wheels. Is this a fair price to pay?
january 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 Stainless steel can be very expensive. You didn't mention the dimensions, so it's hard to tell whether the price is fair or not. That said, you can try Yew Lee Metalworks at 17 Tai Seng Dr to get a quote for stainless steel items. Their prices seem pretty fair. http://www.yewlee.com.sg/ You can try. Meowalot 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2011 Thank you January for the useful suggestion :-) Will certainly visit their website to find out more. My stove is 86.5cm x 51cm. I'm using pipe gas and the inlet is on the underside of the stove. If anyone else has any advice or recommendations to share, it will be much appreciated.
