Though we bought this house in 2008 becuase cov 10K only. We did not plan for a renovation till 2010 because we were saving up for a major renovation as the condition is pretty bad.

View of the open concept kitchen with breakfast top/bar counter. Behind the mirror there is hidden storage.

My island hood from Turbo Italia and my Coca cola Bar Top clock from Phuket Thailand. Handmade from real coca cola can.

Notice my full length kitchen cabinet. It ends just before touching the floor so that it will not get wet when washing the floor. Many people mistook it as my wardrobe. :bleah:

A glance of the ground floor the moment you enter the unit. My balcony is integrated into my living room.

A close up look at my leaf platform which is a subsitute for my sofa. Note the 3 circles on the ceiling. Specially cut by the contractor doing the partition. Circular cove lighting.

View of my laminated leaf platform from the upper floor. I like the 3D effect. Cool!. My ID was worried that I could not accept the idea when he first propose to me. I am glad that I accepted the idea. The leaf flooring consist of cement screeding using green cement. The veins of the leaf is painted by my ID personally using paint coated with 24K gold powder. The floor is then protected with 3 layers of clear coating to protect the cement. Below the platform it is fitted with 14 T5 lightings.

The end of the platform. It gives a resort kind of feeling with the pebbles beside it.

Hanging lights with various colours at the end of the platform.

My coffee table cum tea corner. Thanks to my friend who bought me a traditional tea set from China. I can enjoy making tea at this corner.

I am glad that I bought this coffee table from Zen tradition. Bought it 2 months before my renovation. My ID first spotted it and told me that this would suit his design theme. Bargain from $1100 to $900. Boss say it is the only piece. He promised to refund if I can find another one in singapore.
