black shadow 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2011 Hi all, Have benefitted alot by reading from this forum and now that my renovation is coming to a close.... I would like to give my own contribution, opinion etc especially for newbies on renovation matters.... well I am oso a newbie myself... As I am relative new to starting a T blog and thus may not know how to attach pics etc.. pls bear with me... I intend to keep it short... by showing.... pics of b4 renovation, perspective drawings (well... there aint many) and pics after renovation.... so feel free to ask and if I know the answers, I surely will assist. black shadow 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) First of all, I have to say it again.... thanks to ah zhizz for his recommendation of Senior ID Jessie Pang from Inside Living. Really grateful and thankful that she managed to accept me as a customer hahaha (I have heard of many ah zhizz's referrals who were not accepted by her... due to her heavy workload and she regretfully have to pass to her other colleagues) so I was pleasant surprised that she AGREED to meet me then in Oct 2010 - 3 mths b4 taking possession of keys from ex owners. Briefly, why Jessie seems ideal to me.... ( pls note : there are of course some ID & contractors who maybe as ideal but we really dont have the time and patient to evaluate everyone right ? ) well as ah zhizz has correctly pointed out, the deciding factor is whether the ID u going to appoint... is someone who can perceive your requirements, sincerely work within your budget, no hidden agenda like exorbitant Variation Orders, aint pushy on his / her concept, keen eye for details, good color sense / matching and most importantly CAN CLICK with both u and your spouse and of course with a reasonable quotation. Meanwhile give me time to upload some of my pics and oso obtain some perspective drawings (in soft copy from Jessie) and then I will try to post here.. Happy labbit year to all.. Cheers Edited January 28, 2011 by black shadow

black shadow 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2011 m sorry if i offend you buy dont u think that wall is so big with just a shoe cabinet there is a waste of space and look very bare no worries on offence, cos renovation is based on one's liking and opinion... Ya that wall can be considered huge but then on the left of the pic is the entrance so actually not much space to manouver if I were to have a bigger shoe or display cabinet, moreover we like to keep it as bare, simple and uncluttered as possible. Below is a pic of the wall b4 renovation.
